Welcome to the site of the European Parliament's delegation for relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.

As the Chair of this delegation, I co-chair two joint parliamentary committees: the EU-Bosnia and Herzegovina Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC) and the EU-Kosovo Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC). Each of these committees has a Co-Chair from the partner parliament.

In Kosovo, the EU-Kosovo SAPC has maintained regular meetings since its inception in 2016. We have seen encouraging progress in democratic reforms, economic development, and efforts to combat corruption. However, significant work remains, particularly regarding the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, which remains central to long-term stability in the region.

The EU-BiH SAPC has been building momentum since regular meetings resumed in October 2023. I believe that this will help guide Bosnia and Herzegovina further along its European path.

Our goal is to consider all aspects of accession to the European Union, with particular emphasis on the democratic order, fight against corruption, organized crime, the protection of human rights as well as the dialogue between the countries of Southeast Europe.

I look forward to working closely with our counterparts and supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina's and Kosovo's efforts to meet all the requirements to advance on their EU integration paths.

Davor Ivo STIER, MEP
